Matter pertaining to environment are govern by a number of central legislation. These include the environment protection act, The Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and others. At the same time there are also a set of State Legislation/ Rules/ Notifications, which are amid at day to day management of various issue related to protection and conservation of environment.
